Database Search Cheatsheet

SneakySims' custom content database uses a search system inspired by booru image boards.

It is a different approach compared to other conventional modding websites. All custom content is tagged with tags and, instead of searching by categories, you search by tags. A tagging system has an advantage that it is easier to find things that you may like, instead of searching a general category like "Skins" and combing through what you may want.

• #tag1 #tag2: Search for mods that have #tag1 and #tag2
• -#tag1 -#tag2: Search for mods that do not have #tag1 or #tag2

Here are some examples of how you can use the tagging system to your advantage!

If you want to search only for skins, you can search for #skin. This is similar to how you would open a "Skins" category on other fan sites.

If you want to find skins that are compatible with The Sims' medium skin tone, you can search for #skin #skin-tone-medium.

If you want to exclude Touhou skins from your search, you can search for #skin -#touhou.

If all custom content is properly tagged, this system is amazing to find custom content related to the things you like.
