A custom wallpaper creator for The Sims 1! While HomeCrafter, Maxis' official wall/floor creation tool, already exists, it requires you to download it, get some missing DLLs from the internet, and it also only works with .bmp and .jpg files.

This tool works directly on your browser, no need to download anything, just throw an image file to the tool and export it as a custom wallpaper!

It is recommended that you use a 128x232 image file that has less than 86 colors and does not have any transparent pixels. However, it doesn't matter if you use a smaller or bigger image because the tool will automatically resize it. The color recommendation is mostly to let the left, right, and front walls have a contrast between them by changing the color brightness, but you can upload an image that has more colors, and the tool will quantize it to 256 colors.

It should be noted that this is very experimental! The generated walls have been tested in The Sims Legacy Collection and also in the HomeCrafter tool, but there is a chance that they may not work in other fan-made tools!

Exported wallpapers should be placed in your GameData/Walls/ folder!
