The Sims HomeCrafter
The Sims' HomeCrafter is the official Maxis tool for custom wallpaper and floor creation. The tool works with the original The Sims and it also works with The Sims Legacy Collection.
Ever wondered how to hang wallpaper or install flooring in your own home? It's as easy as 1-2-3. Just follow these steps and you will be hanging wallpaper and laying floor in Junior's bedroom before you can utter the words "home improvement."
Exported walls should be placed in your GameData/Wallpapers/ folder. Exported floors should be placed in your GameData/Floors/ folder.
The download includes the d3drm.dll ("Direct3D Retained Mode"), which is required for the tool to work on modern Windows versions.
If you prefer, there is also our own Wallpaper Maker and Floor Maker tools, which doesn't require any downloads.
